Tonight’s program includes the world premiere of Jandali’s String Quartet in E-flat Major performed by the Apollo Chamber Players, as well as selected works from SoHo and The Jasmine Tree albums by the Malek Jandali Trio.

The evening concludes with the presentation of the 2016 Malek Jandali International Youth Piano Competition awards.

Composer and pianist Malek Jandali releases his latest album, Hiraeth, which features the Symphony No. 2 in B minor, “Luminosity”, and Symphony No. 3 in B-flat minor, “Hiraeth”. Jandali’s music integrates ancient melodies from Aleppo and the Silk Road into works that are preserving and presenting the musical heritage of Syria.
